Building Maintenance Fund
When His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche first arrived in Singapore, his heartfelt aspiration was to establish a permanent center for the practice of Buddha Dharma, benefiting all sentient beings in the region. Our resident teacher, Ven. Dorzin Dhondrup Rinpoche, has been diligently leading center committees and volunteers in working towards fulfilling the wish of our revered root guru.
Garchen Rinpoche emphasized, "Through the Dharma center, many people can learn about karma, cause and effect. By understanding karma, we naturally develop inner discipline to follow all laws. Even in the absence of an external police force, individuals can self-regulate, embracing the laws of kindness and love. Thus, goodness will prevail within the country."
After 12 years of dedicated efforts since 2011, we are thrilled to announce the completion of our new premises at 137 Sims Avenue in August 2022. On 25th August 2022, Ven. Dorzin Dhondrup Rinpoche moved into the new center, marking a significant milestone. The first Dharma activity conducted at the new center was the 12th Nyungne Retreat. Following this, Rinpoche and other lamas consecrated the statues at the main shrine and blessed the entire center.
We feel incredibly fortunate and honored to have received the presence of His Holiness Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche, who graciously blessed the center on 27th October 2022, further infusing it with sacred blessings.

“Ever since I first came here, we have worked very hard to create and maintain a stable Dharma centre. Today, the centre has become rooted in a firm foundation and in order for it to continue to remain with stability in the future we are trying to gather the necessary conditions of obtaining a physical premise for the centre.”
