Birthday Celebration of HH Chungtsang Rinpoche & Teaching of The 37 Practices of Bodhisattvas

There will be a birthday celebration of His Holiness Chungtsang Rinpoche on The Day Buddha Descended from Tushita Heavens on 3 November 2015, 7.30 to 9.30pm. All are welcomed to join us!
Besides, most Ven. Chime Dorjee Rinpoche will be coming to Singapore this November to give teachings on the 2nd part of the 37 Practices of Bodhisattvas.

6 Nov (Fri) : 7.30pm - 9.30pm
7 Nov (Sat) : 2pm - 6pm
8 Nov (Sun) : 10am - 5pm
The present Chime Dorjee Rinpoche was born in India in 1984, the Wood Rat year, with many auspicious signs occurring at the time of his birth. He was recognized by H.H the 37th Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche and was officially enthroned in the year 1992 at Jangchubling Monastery as the reincarnation of Siddha Gar Chimi Dorjee who was a great practitioner and an embodiment of the Avalokiteshvara (the Buddha of Compassion).
Chime Dorjee Rinpoche completed his basic monastic education from the Jangchubling Monastery, Dehra Dun, India. Rinpoche received the entire set of empowerments, oral transmission and instruction of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage from H.H Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche, H.H Drikung Kyabgon Chungsang Rinpoche, H.E Garchen Rinpoche as well as from many other eminent Rinpoches of Drikung Kagyu Lineage.
Chime Dorjee Rinpoche has studied extensively and has great interest and aspiration for meditation retreat, continuously applying what he has learnt to his meditation practice. Growing up in this modern era, he expresses openness and interest towards the problems faced by modern day practitioners. This, together with his kind and gentle heart as well as his sharp intelligence, makes him an exceptionally gifted teacher for the modern world.
